Before and After School Care
Students enrolled in our after school program will enjoy an atmosphere of caring, fun and growth, and will also experience some new challenges along the way. This structured after school time includes a daily routine that will give our students time for refreshment (both body and mind), exercise, homework/reading time, relaxation and the opportunity to learn and grow through the introduction of new skills and games. Logic, math, reading and social interaction will take place and develop as they learn to play hands-on activities such as card games, memory games, checkers, board games, etc. Fine motor skills will be honed through the use of manipulatives, artwork and crafts. Imaginations will be expanded and listening skills fine-tuned as story time takes us to new and exciting places.

This sounds like a busy time after a full day of school; however, these activities will be performed on a rotating schedule. We want your child to come home feeling refreshed and satisfied after a good day at school and happy to have accomplished their homework or learn a new skill. We can also assist your student with any homework difficulties and give you that feedback for follow through at home. We are there because we care. As you know, The Difference Makes a Difference, and we want to be there for you and your child.

Typical After-School Schedule
| 3:00 - 3:30 | Snack and “down” time |
| 3:30 - 4:00 | Outdoor recess (we use the church hall during inclement weather, if available) |
| 4:00 - 4:30 | Homework and/or reading time |
| 4:30 - 5:30 | Students may continue homework, if they desire. Otherwise, organized games, storytime, artwork or craft time will complete the day on a rotating daily schedule. |
| 5:30 | Pick-up time. After school care ends. |
Please be prompt in picking up your student(s). Private cell phone numbers of after school caretakers will be provided at sign up. ALL students will participate in outdoor recess. Please make sure they have the appropriate outerwear and footwear. Allowances are made with a DOCTOR’S NOTE ONLY.

PREPAID PLAN
The prepaid plan is for families who use the program on a daily basis. Prepayment discounts apply for Monthly or Yearly payments.
Monthly prepay: Payment must be received by the first day of the Month that you are paying for in order for you to receive the discounted rate. If payment hasn’t been received once the first week’s charges of that month have been entered then your payment will be put as a credit on your account and you will be charged the daily rate for that month.
Yearly prepay: payment must be received by September 5, 2011.
DAILY RATE AND DROP-IN
Daily Rate: both the AM and the PM Program have two daily rates; part-day and full-day. Families will receive a statement after the close of each month which must be paid in full upon receipt of statement.
It is appreciated if Drop-in students (children attending on a “need to stay that day” basis) pay the day they attend.
