Each year, a group of 6th grade students works closely with parent volunteers to produce a 50+ page school yearbook. Once the students decide upon a theme, they learn how to use various computer software programs to design the cover and create many special pages. They also take pictures of different school activities, layout photo collages, select clipart, distribute questionnaires, draft text, and gather information as needed. Meetings will take place at a variety of times during the year, including before and during school. |
Order Forms and Ad Spaces Now Available  
Dear Parents, St. Christopher School publishes a school wide yearbook annually. A group of 6th graders and a group of parents work together throughout the year to create a final product that the whole student body, faculty and staff can enjoy. The yearbook is chock full of memories. Each teacher has been assigned a parent photographer, who visits the class periodically to capture everyday moments as well as big events. In addition, the teachers also take pictures of their own classes. The yearbook includes the individual school pictures which were taken in the fall and each grade has their own photo collage page. Faculty and staff photos are included and there are a number of surprise pages! One section that is a special memory for both the parents and the children is the “Personal Messages.” This is the section where parents can submit a little note to their kids wishing them well and congratulating them on a great year! Another very important part of the book is the “Sponsors.” There are two kinds. The first is a family sponsorship. The family’s name appears on their child’s class photo page. The second is a business sponsorship. A business can have their business card appear on the business sponsorship page. The Personal Messages and Sponsors are very important to our yearbook. We have been able to keep the cost at $13 per yearbook thanks to our Personal Messages and Sponsors. Attached to this letter are the forms you can use to submit a personal message, to sponsor a class page, to submit a business sponsorship and last but not least to order a yearbook(s). In order to produce this yearbook in a timely fashion, there are publishing deadlines to which we need to adhere. Please submit your forms by the deadlines indicated.
