St. Christopher School

 It's hard to believe that there is less than 2 months left of this school year. It has gone by so quickly! May is a very busy month for the students in 5C. 

 My Fifth grade students are at the  finish line when it comes to learning their "verbs" as well as reviewing "The Eight Parts of Speech." Vocabulary is continually taught throughout the year and what a year its been! The students and I are currently reviewing over one hundred and twenty vocabulary words that were taught during the school year above and beyond their regular vocabulary book. I am preparing them for their "ONE HUNDRED WORD " vocab test at the end of May as well as a test on everything that they've learned from the moment they walked into my class until the moment that they leave. Please don't fret, because I will be handing out an outline on what they need to study and there will be a big review.

The Sixth grade students are currently working on yet another project called "Parts of Speech Group Presentation." This particular project is a lot of fun, the students must teach all of the information given in the textbook about their part of speech. The students must present a skit, a song, rap, country, or a learning game as well as engaging the class in learning. This will give the students a chance to work as a group and let their personalities shine!!!

I am so proud of all of my students and what they have accomplished during the school year!
