St. Christopher School

We have a Birthday Book Program available for those families that wish to commemorate their child’s birthday by donating a book to our School Library. The program has been ongoing for a number of years and has been very successful. Thank you past donors!!!

This program makes a big difference in the growth of our Library. The selection emphasis is placed on the student choosing a book that he or she enjoys, thus acquiring a book for the Library that many other students will also enjoy. Book selections are made with the assistance of Mrs. Riley and all selections are then sent home for final approval by the student’s parent. As always, we will place a bookplate on the inside cover of the book with your child’s name and date of birthday. After the “birthday” student has finished reading the book, it will be kept in the Library. It will be a gift that is shared with others for many years to come.

If you wish to commemorate your child’s birthday by participating in our Birthday Book Program, please send a note in with your child for them to see Mrs. Riley in the Library. Students with birthdays that occur during the summer months may also purchase birthday books and they too need to see Mrs. Riley. She will be happy to assist  your child in making  their  selection. Mrs. Riley will  then notify you  of their selection, and  if you are in agreement  with  what  they  have selected, please  send  payment to school to Mrs. Riley payable to: St. Christopher School and the book will then be ordered.

Many thanks to the following students and their familes for donating a new book through our BIRTHDAY BOOK PROGRAM.  Because of their generosity, we have 3 brand new books added to our Library collection.  Thank you!
