End of November Happenings!
Hi Parents,
Lots of things are happening over the next 2 weeks and I just wanted to remind you of them. Tomorrow, Monday, November 21st, 8 Pilgrims and 8 Native Americans will be celebrating Thanksgiving in our class. On Wednesday, November 23rd we will attend the Thanksgiving Prayer Service at 9:15am. Please join us! Wednesday is also Crazy Sock Day! Have your child jazz up his/her uniform with any type of crazy socks. That day Pre-K students will be released at 12:15pm and there will be no aftercare.
The week after Thanksgiving will also be busy. Tuesday, November 29th from 6-8pm is the St. Chris night at Barnes and Noble. Mrs. Clarke will be hosting a story time, classes will have some work on display and sing Christmas carols and our class is coloring bookmarks that will be given out with purchases. Anything purchased that night, using our school code will benefit St. Chris. An information sheet with that code was sent home earlier in the month. Come join us and get some Christmas shopping done!
The students have worked very hard to complete their second compliment chain and now that they are done (and even started their third chain) they voted, by secret Popsicle sticks, to have a Pajama Day. We will celebrate this accomplishment on Wednesday, November 30th. Please have your child wear pajamas and footwear that is both school and weather appropriate since we will still be going out for recess.
Our class will have an opportunity to shop at the Christmas gift room on Thursday, December 1st at 9am. Please make sure you send in your child's money, shopping list and gift tags on or by Dec.1st.
And finally, our Halloween Party pictures are now posted on the St. Chris school website, www.stchrisschoolnh.org. Please check them out!
Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
Mrs. Hauntsman
