GLORIA A DIOS EN LAS ALTURAS Y PAZ EN LA TIERRA A LOS HOMBRES DE BUENA VOLUNTAD.
November was a great month. The children from 5M did a wonderful job singing Gracias a Dios during the Thanksgiving prayer services. ¡Buen trabajo chicos!
The boletin board looks so pretty with all the decorations the kids made. The pictures for Veteranos y la Bandera came out very nice and make a thankful
display. ¡Muchas gracias to Mrs. Clarke for the bulletin board! Now the kids can display all the nice things they made en la clase de espanol.
The book marks (marcadores de libros) for the book fair were beautiful (hermosos). Los chicos had a good time making them. Mrs. Riley was very happy
with the results.
We gave gracias a Dios por los ninos with a display of all the children's hands (manos). They like to try to find their hands as they walk by the display on the
boletin board.
Durante el mes de diciembre we started to talk about FAMILIA. Kindergarten made pictures of Mi Familia (My Family) to decorate the boletin board.

We are going to learn about Navidad (Christmas) and share some traditions from Latin America. There is a very strong religious feeling during las fiestas de
Navidad and the welcoming of Baby Jesus to our lives, en ingles y espanol.
Second grade will be learning and sharing with la escuela about Las Posadas. This is a beautiful tradition from Mexico where people goes traveling, like
Maria y Jose, looking for a place to stay before Jesus was born.
4M and Sixth grade will be singing a bilingual song with Mrs. Polcari at the piano. One for Immaculate Conception Mass, and the other during the
Christmas Concert.

Pre-K is going to start taking clases de espanol in January. We will be learning songs, games, and sharing stories to introduce the kids to the wonderful world
