Open House for Prospective Families –Our next Open Houses for prospective new families will take place on January 5 from 9:00-11:00 AM and 6:00-8:00 PM and on January 8 from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM. Please encourage anyone who might be interested in joining our school community to attend one of the Open Houses or to call for a private tour! We know that our current families are out best advertisements – thank you for all you do to build the St. Christopher School community!
In-House Registrations – PreK to Grade 2 Registrations for next year are now past due! If you have a child who you will be in those grades next year, you need to get your registration in ASAP! We are currently accepting applications for all grades from families who would be new to the school and we don’t want to give away a seat for a current student! If you need a registration form, please contact Jackie at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it right away!
Registrations for grades 3-6 will be distributed on January 6 and will be due on January 27.
Parish/School Mass – In conjunction with our upcoming Open Houses for prospective students, we will be holding our annual January Parish/School Mass on Sunday, January 8 at 10:00 AM. The mass will be followed by a Coffee Hour with lots of donuts and the opportunity to catch up with friends after the frenzy of the holidays! All students who attend the mass in uniform will receive a Free Dress pass for the following Friday, January 13.
Julie Spicer – Many of you may have seen a recent article about one of our 3rd grade parents – Julie Spicer – in a recent edition of the Telegraph. Julie has very recently been diagnosed with “double hit” lymphoma, a particularly aggressive form. Parents from daughter Dani’s class, along with teachers and other friends, have donated gas cards to help defray the cost of driving back and forth to Boston for treatment, as well as arranging for meals for the family. Additional donations are certainly welcome. Please contact Marta at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more information.
As part of her treatment, Julie will soon require a bone marrow transplant. Her older daughters, Emily and Melissa, have arranged for three upcoming Bone Marrow Donor Drives in honor of their mother. All three drives will be held on Friday, December 23rd. One drive will be held in Nashua at Elm St. Middle School while another will be held at Milford High School, with both taking place from 3 PM to 9 PM. A third drive will be held that day at the Courtyard Marriott on Southwood Drive in Nashua from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Testing is at no cost and is pain free – a simple swab in the mouth is all it takes! Please consider having the testing done – what a wonderful Christmas gift it would be!
Thanks from the Spicer Family --To the families and staff of St. Chris…The Spicer family would like to thank you for your gracious help and support. Words cannot say how much we appreciate all that you have done to help us get through this difficult time. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
Progress Reports – You may have noticed that we were scheduled to distribute Progress Reports for the older grades last Friday. However, after discussion the teachers, Mrs. Clarke decided that we would NOT be sending out Progress Reports at this time because our parent-teacher conferences were less than a month ago and everyone should be current on their child’s progress. (The schedule published in the Student Parent Handbook on page 23 does not list a Progress Report at this time either.) However, please know that if a teacher feels that a student’s performance has declined since the conference, a Progress Report noting the teacher’s concerns will have been sent home. As always, if you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the teacher via email, a personal note, or a call to the school. Thanks!
Scrip Orders – It’s not too late for Scrip orders! Need a last minute gift for someone? Scrip gift cards are ALWAYS appreciated (especially by teenagers!). We still have some Scrip cards in stock for IMMEDIATE purchase – please see Mrs. Carney for the list of available cards.

The Longhorn has graciously agreed to give us a percentage of their sales for the entire day! Parent Group Meeting – In the interest of not adding to the stress of an already crazy time of year, the Parent Group has cancelled the meeting scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, December 21. Their next meeting will be held on January 18 at 7:00 PM in the library. Please join them!
Red, Green and White Free Dress and Early Release – Just a quick reminder that this Friday, December 23, is a Red, Green and White Free Dress day, as well as an early release day!
