TOMORROW! STEM Day and STEM Fair – Our fantabulous STEM Day is tomorrow, March 12!  We have an exciting group of wonderful volunteer speakers from a variety of STEM fields who will be visiting with our students on the morning. Pass along your GENTLY USED BABY CLOTHES – If only they could still fit into all of those cute little outfits!  If you’ve decided to pass along your outgrown baby items, know that they will be happily received by the babies of the Olancho maternity hospital.  😊  Any gently used baby clothes or receiving blankets will be put to good use by the moms and babies at the hospital serving the impoverished families on Olancho, Honduras.  Your gently used baby clothes encourage moms and babies to get the medical care they need for a safe and healthy birth.  Please bring your items to the front desk during the month of March.  Thank you from the Faith Outreach Committee!

Stations of the Cross – As is tradition here at St. Chris, we will be holding the Stations of the Cross every Friday through Easter. Please check the calendar at the top of this page for the times each Friday as they do switch between morning and afternoon. Parents are encouraged to attend and mark this Lenten journey with our students.

UPDATED! YEARBOOK Orders Overdue  Yearbook orders were due last Friday, March 6. If your child would like a Yearbook, please complete and return the order form HERE by this Friday, March 13. Please note there extra yearbooks may not be available in June, so please order now to be sure your child will receive one!

Wildcat Stuffies at the School Store – Have you see the absolutely adorable new Saint Chris Academy Wildcat stuffies at the School Store? They are perfect for the Easter basket! Just $5 for the small and $10 for the medium….and they are SO cute!

School Store Gift Certificates – And speaking of the School Store, don’t forget we have “Wild Cat Cash” gift certificates available, too! Simply send in a sealed envelope marked “Front Desk” and we’ll send home a sealed envelope with the certificate! Gift certificates can be for any amount and make a GREAT addition to the Easter basket!

Annual Fund– Just under a month left to get your donation in to the Annual Fund so it appears in the Honor Roll of Donors! All donations made before April 1st will appear in the Honor Roll published in the summer edition of the News and Notes. As of today, we have raised over $42,000! We would love to have each and every parent be part of this year’s exciting Annual Fund!

Donating to the Annual Fund is easy! You may make your donation using any of the following methods:

  • Return the remittance envelope included in your Annual Fund letter along with a check, cash, or credit card number.
  • Send a check or cash in to school in an envelope marked “Annual Fund”.
  • Call Business Manager Murrayann Abucewicz at 882-7442, ext. 113, to have your credit card charged manually.
  • Or donate online through Square at https://www.stchrisschoolnh.org/apps/pages/onlinegiving

However you choose to donate, please know that we are MOST grateful!

Hot Lunch Ordering – Hot Lunch ordering for April is no open! It will remain open through midnight on March 15 and no late orders can be accepted. Thank you!

Forgotten Lunches – Just a friendly reminder that students who forget their lunch receive a bagel and cream cheese, along with any available sides. To make it fair for everyone, there are no exceptions. Please do not count on your child receiving the Hot Lunch of the day as we only order the number of meals we need to accommodate those who order through Boonli. A $3.50 charge for the meal will be added to your Boonli account. This long-standing policy helps us to monitor inventory and keep our costs down. Thanks so much for your help with our Hot Lunch program!

NEXT WEEK! St. Patrick’s Day – We’ll be wearin’ the green on our St. Patrick’s Day Free Dress day NEXT Tuesday, March 17! Students should wear green and white!

Used Book Sale – It may seem a looong ways away, but our Parent Group wanted to remind parents to save used books, cd’s, and dvd’s for the Used Book and Uniform Sale in May! If you are doing a little after-Christmas cleaning (or pre-Spring cleaning?), please keep the sale in mind! We accept donations of both children’s and adult’s book and media. All books and media are sold for 50¢ each and all students will visit the sale! Donations can be brought to the school after April vacation!
