NEW! Thank You - Several important thank you notes to share this week!

  • Beauty and the Beast - Special thanks to Mr. Quigley, Ms. Thompson, and Mrs. Fessenden for their incredible hard work with our student production of Beauty and the Beast Jr. this past weekend! Their dedication to providing this wonderful experience in the performing arts is inspiring and we are most grateful!

  • Many thanks, too, to all of the parent volunteers who worked the “front of the house” for the production popping popcorn and selling tickets, concessions, and lolligrams and to those behind the scenes who helped with set construction, costuming, hair and makeup, choreography, and more!

  • Vocation Day - Yesterday’s Vocation Day was a huge success thanks to the efforts of Mrs. Noon, the Faith Outreach Committee, and the volunteers who helped out in the morning. The committee and volunteers included Andrea Hechavarria, Julie Knapp, Lara Louis, Amy Milinazzo, Trisha Muldoon, Alison Nardone, Danielle Schuh, Alex Sullivan, Emily Uong, Cassy Vachon, Erin Varsalone, Julie Vincent, and Jamie Viveiros. We also very much appreciate the efforts of those who provided food for the brunch on both campuses, and for the team of parents who came in the afternoon to run the craft sessions in the classrooms!

    • Vocation Day wouldn’t be possible without the priests, religious, and lay people who joined us for the morning! Please join us in thanking Fr. David Harris, Fr. Rob Glasgow, Fr. Von DeRosia, Fr. Matt Mason, Sr. Rosemary Burnham, Fr. Peter Nguyen, Deacon Brian Lester, Deacon Jim Daly, Ms. Abbey Thompson, Sr. Ignatia, Miss Natalie Lindquist, Fr. John Bucchino, Msgr. Joseph Moynahan, Mr. Brian Flaherty, Deacon Christopher Conley, Br. Paul Vaillencourt, Fr. Dixon Choolakkal, Sr. Maria Faustina, and Ms. Sara Smith.

NEW! Education Tax Credit (ETC) and Education Freedom Account (EFA) Applications Now Open! The 2024-2025 ETC and EFA application window is now open!  Childrens Scholarship NH (CSFNH)  offers a dual application for the 2024-2025 Education Tax Credit (ETC) scholarship and an Education Freedom Account (EFA) grant. Through this dual application, you may apply for either or both programs. If you choose to apply for both an ETC scholarship and an EFA grant, you must meet and agree to the requirements of each program to qualify.

The Education Tax Credit (ETC) scholarship application deadline is Friday, May 3rd. Returning ETC families are given priority in receiving an ETC award provided there is still a financial need and the application along with all required documents are complete and submitted by the Friday, May 3rd deadline.

The Education Freedom Account (EFA) grant has strict funding guidelines. To receive a 100% EFA grant for the 2024-2025 school year, the application and supporting documents must be verified by Monday, July 15, 2024. EFA grants are awarded and prorated based on the EFA application's completed and verified status. Please refer to the EFA Parent Handbook on the CSFNH website for more details.

Please Note:

  • You will only be considered for a 2024-25 award when your application and supporting documents have been verified by CSFNH.
  • Applications and supporting documents are reviewed in the order in which they are received, please allow up to 6-8 weeks for processing. Your patience during this high volume period is truly appreciated.
  • For an application status update, you may log into your CSFNH portal, and click on the ‘STUDENTS’ tab.

Important Saint Christopher Financial Aid Note: Applicants for Saint Chris financial aid are also required to apply for aid from the Children’s Scholarship Fund. Any aid received from those funds will be deducted from the financial aid awarded through the Saint Christopher Academy financial aid program.

3rd Quarter Honor Roll - Congratulations to our upper campus scholars who achieved Honor Roll status for the third quarter! See the list HERE!

THIS WEEK! Eclipse Glasses Recycling - What a great day we had last week with the solar eclipse! Students spent the morning learning about eclipses and doing special activities, then viewed the event safely through their eclipse glasses from a generous donor. Since NH won’t see the next total solar eclipse until 2079, we felt it is important to find a way to recycle our glasses for students in other countries to have the same exciting experience! There will be collection boxes in the lobbies of both campuses through THIS Friday, April 19. All glasses will be donated to Astronomers Without Borders for distribution to students and educators in locations throughout the world who will be experiencing solar eclipses in the near future. Thank you for helping us to help others!

THIS WEEK! Silver Knights Education Day Tickets - It’s time to order tickets for the field trip to the Silver Knights on June 4th! Please note that students who do not choose to attend this field trip will need to stay home from school on June 4.

NEW! Upper Campus Drop-In Tour Day - Do you know families who are considering Saint Chris for their grade 6 to 8 student in the fall? We believe that experiencing our school during the school day is the best way to get a real sense of the energy and enthusiasm of our Saint Chris community so the upper campus will be holding a drop-in tour day on May 15 for anyone who would like to see our staff and students “in action”!  Potential families are welcome to stop by the school any time between 8:30 am and 1:30 pm for an impromptu personal tour.

NEW! Upper Campus Street Hockey Team - Looking for a fun way to spend some Friday afternoons at the end of the school year? Upper Campus is excited to once again be part of the Nashua PAL Middle School Street Hockey League. This league is run by Nashua PAL, with help from many current and former Nashua Police Officers who stand in as mentors and coaches for the kids. This is a no-cut team and is open to the first 14 kids registered. Previous hockey experience and hockey equipment is not needed! Everything is provided, including transportation to the games. Students will need to be picked up from the Nashua Boys & Girls Club after the games. Games start Friday, May 3, and the season is fully wrapped up by Friday, May 31. Lower Campus Street Warnings - Parents should be aware that the school side of Cushing Ave is no parking at any time during school hours (with the exception of live parking during drop-off time). Several parents have received tickets from the police while coming in to pick up their children. As an alternative, parents can park short term across the street, in the bus drop off, or in the upper parish parking lot.

In addition, please also be aware of the speed limits in our neighborhood! We have received complaints from our neighbors about cars speeding to/from school during both the before and after school hours. As this is a school zone, the speed limit is 20 mph around the school. Outside of the school zone, the speed limit is 30 mph.

Lower Campus Security Reminder - Please remember that all lower campus parents must stop at the front desk and sign in before proceeding to a classroom. Parents should not walk their children to classrooms or deliver items to classrooms without a pass. It is imperative that all parents follow this rule for security reasons with NO exceptions at all times during the day, including drop-off. Thank you for your cooperation.

Lower Campus Library News - Birthday Books - If you would like to purchase a birthday book for your student this year, please send Mrs. Noon an email or a note by April 19th to allow plenty of time for the book to be delivered and processed. If you have more than one student, feel free to get their birthday books at the same time! For more information on the birthday book program find it HERE. We have added over 50 new books to the library this year, thanks to our families donating to the Birthday Book Program. Thank you for your generosity!
