Fr. David Harris

Fr. David HarrisWe are blessed to have Fr. David Harris, pastor of St. Christopher Parish, as Rector of Saint Christopher Academy. As Rector, Fr. David has responsibility for the spiritual leadership of the Academy and is a very visible and active member of the Saint Chris community. His prayerful and uplifting presence sets a wonderful example for our students!

Fr. David is a native of Rye, New Hampshire and was ordained to the priesthood on June 3rd, 2017. He is a graduate of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover and Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island. Before pursuing his call to the priesthood, he worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC and also in marketing and development at his high school. Father David was involved with youth ministry for many years.

His six years of formation and studies for the priesthood took place at Saint John’s Seminary in Brighton, Massachusetts. Prior to arriving at Saint Christopher’s in 2018, Father David served as the Parochial Vicar at Saint Elizabeth Seton Parish in Bedford.

Father David loves being a Catholic priest, especially in being able to share the sacramental graces of the Church and the Gospel of Jesus Christ with God’s people. He also enjoys the outdoors, skiing, art, and spending time with family and friends.

Saint Christopher Academy students experience the joy of learning in an environment where their unique, God-given gifts are celebrated and shared. We strive to develop the whole person in each student - physically, intellectually, and spiritually - so they can bring joy, faith, and success to any endeavor. Guided by the light of the Gospel, our outstanding faculty helps each student know that they are cherished by God and that He calls each of them to pursue extraordinary lives. I encourage all families to join us on this exciting journey!
